    more specifically .. gnoolie is a rabbit of sorts

The GNOOLIE. as we know it originates from an «undisclosed island» 

 This gnoolie is a gender-less, anthropomorphic creature resembling a hare.  


 

 
  In an unfortunate turn of events, the creature was closely examined, studied, 

 and ultimately gawked at with peering eyes. 

Its distinctive off-kilter, disoriented need for moving around and making noise was exploited 
  
 
 After a stint of having to play in the circus, 


  
the GNOOLIE. escaped for the desert in hopes of finding 
more receptive audiences for her down-trodden
novelty performance
